Abbeyfield Vintage Style Boutique B&B, Torquay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with a super king-size bed and a walk-in shower, located on the ground floor, making it very clean and comfortable. It was warm, clean, quiet, and comfortable with a large en suite bathroom. The service provided by Jeff and his wife Sandra was fantastic - they were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs, within walking distance to the town and sea, and with convenient off-road parking. The dining experience was excellent, setting us up for the day with traditional homemade products. One drawback was that breakfast was wonderful but the amount of noise made while cleaning up could be disruptive. Overall, a great value for money.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms on the ground floor overlooking the garden were beautiful with lovely views, very comfortable, and clean, providing us with everything we needed. The service was friendly and accommodating, although there were instances when the noise during breakfast hinted at moving on; however, they were fantastic overall. The location was good, especially with the parking space in the center of Torquay, ideal for reaching nearby attractions. The dining experience was lovely, with home-baked bread and muffins, excellent and plentiful; however, fresh sushi was missing. The facilities were satisfactory, with some areas needing maintenance.

My stay at the hotel was just fantastic! The location was superb, close to all amenities and within walking distance to the town center. The rooms were comfortable, perfect for our needs, and I really appreciated the helpful tips on where to go and what to see provided by the owner. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of options. I can't wait to come back!
